In 2025, our client Kia Austria was the main sponsor of the Kia Beach & Surf Fest at Lake Neusiedl for the first time. Summer was heralded in Burgenland for four days – accompanied by parties, special acts on stage, the kite surfing elite, and the new innovative fully electric Kia models EV3, EV6, and EV9. The PR team kicked things off with a media event together with Kia ambassador Valentin Bontus, where guests from print, digital, and TV media captured the summer vibe. The highlight was definitely the visit from the ORF Seitenblicke team, who interviewed Kia Austria director Harald Hölzl and ambassador Valentin Bontus.

Our digital team also organized an influencer event, which was attended by ten influencers. In the Kia Lounge, they enjoyed the sunshine, test drove the latest Kia models, and marveled at the kite surfing elite on the water.

About Kia Austria

The South Korean manufacturer's vehicles have been available in Austria since 1995. Kia cars have also been manufactured in Slovakia since 2006. Kia electric cars have been available in Austria since 2014. With the Kia EV6, Kia became the first Korean manufacturer to win the European “Car of the Year” award in 2022. The Kia EV3 was named “World Car of the Year” in 2025 and also won the Red Dot Design Award. The Kia EV9 (“World Car of the Year” 2024) is the brand's top model in Austria. Available with six or seven seats, the five-meter-long SUV competes with established luxury models from other manufacturers.
