Case Weingut Dürnberg


In the second half of 2022, Yield accompanied the Dürnberg winery in implementing the equally innovative and ambitious idea of becoming the first winery in the whole of Europe to be owned by several thousand co-owners. At the end of November, a great success was finally announced: More than 5,000 new shareholders and co-owners were found, six million euros in capital were raised. This makes Dürnberg Fine Wine AG by far the most successful equity issue ever to have taken place in Austria via crowdinvesting.


The Dürnberg winery is located in the traditional wine village of Falkenstein, right in the historic heart of the Weinviertel. Founded in 1991, the winery has been owned by more than 5,000 co-owners and shareholders since a unique share issue in 2022. On 60 hectares, the focus is not only on the lead grape variety Grüner Veltliner, but also on Burgundy. 60 percent of the approximately 400,000 bottles of wine produced per year are currently exported by the Dürnberg winery.  


Together with Yield, we successfully completed our going public in 2022. Through targeted social media and digital marketing, we were able to bring our vision to the broad public, address thousands of people and ultimately win them over as co-owners of our winery.
